PRESS:

The Press, April 2007
Some very collectable names were the inspiration for the winter 2007 range, including Victorian, Vionnet and Vivienne Westwood. These influences have shaped a look which is voluptuous and vivacious. Black, cream and silver feature strongly. Combine these with gorgeous patterns and texture, and you have a versatile and modern take on the Victorian look and Vionnet's bias-cut '20s style.

Otago Daily Times, August 2005
Versatility is reflected in her new summer Beautiful Demoiselle collection which she describes as being “unashamedly feminine without being flouncy” and has been designed to achieve a plethora of individual looks.

Bay Harbour News, July 2005
Pregnancy needn’t mean nine months of fashion faux pas. Sumner designer Jenny Cunningham is committed to cutting the cringe and bringing maternity wear out of its frumpy fold.

The Press, April 2005
Should there be a mini baby boom nine months from now, blame Jenny Cunningham. The sexy, stylish and comfortable maternity clothes she sent down the runway this month prompted a collective wave of hormonal longing among the non-pregnant women in the crowd. No-one expected maternity gear to be so, well, gorgeous.

The Press, Christchurch August 2002
Jenny Cunningham creates contemporary garments for women at all stages of pregnancy.

These are styles women would be happy to wear any time.

….all designed and made with an emphasis on comfort, quality and longevity.

Impress, May 2002
Jenny has created a maternity wardrobe that is both stylish and funky.

ES Magazine, May 2002
Jenny Cunningham revealed such fun cuts in her recent maternity wear fashion show in Sumner.

Many of Jenny’s designs are geared toward active pregnant women – very wearable with no attempt to conceal the growing tummy. And we at ES agree with Jenny’s approach.

Woman Today, October 2001
Always one for having her own style, and a flair for creating the unusual, Jenny Cunningham found her self being constantly asked by pregnant friend whether they could get “her kind of clothes in their size. Keen to come to the aid of her ‘burgeoning’ friends who were struggling to find nice clothes to wear, she realised there was a gap in the market.
