Welcome to Circleworks Maternity – where the clothes are designed to make you look and feel fantastic!

Having grown up with a love of fabrics and design, I guess a career in clothing was inevitable. Having worked as costume maker and designer at Christchurch’s Court Theatre, I began the Circleworks design label in 1997, while living in Europe.

When I returned home to New Zealand in 2001, I found that many of my friends were having difficulty finding maternity clothing that allowed them to continue dressing with a sense of individuality - and so Circleworks Maternity was born!

In order to really get to know what pregnant women want, I spent the initial 3 years designing, fitting and talking with customers. The result is a clothing range fine-tuned to comfortably mould to your changing body shape, without compromising on style or quality. Word of mouth spread, and Circleworks was restructured late 2004, in order to increase production and availability.

In April 2005, Circleworks launched its website and first catalogue range. By 2006 the range was also available through selected retailers in Australasia. In 2007 Circleworks increased its selection of maternity garments which are also suitable for discreet breastfeeding, as women were constantly asking me for styles in this area.

In 2007 I gave birth to my son, which meant I had the opportunity to “test” the range for myself…thankfully my customers are an honest bunch, as I found it as comfortable and versatile as they told me it was!

The range continues to develop, in order to ensure we make the most of new fabrics, technology, and the great customer feedback we get from you!
